Pacific High not only offers boat construction services.
We also provide a full package – from defining the concept of your project, designing your wooden yacht to the construction, launch and management of your new vessels. Beyond getting the boat of your dream and launching an active business, you will be joining in a 21st century adventure together with Pacific High.
CONCEPT & DESIGN
Together we identify your specific needs and goals and we define the concept of your project accordingly. We know that building a boat is all about a dream, a passion and a vision. Our mission is to help you make it real. We work with a team of experienced interior designers and architects to transform the initial vision into a realistic project that combines aesthetic beauty and practicality. We use the latest 3D modelling techniques to examine and consider all the possibilities before starting on the construction phase.
BUILDING
We have developed a strong and equitable relationship based on mutual trust, respect, and hard work with Sulawesi’s most skillful carpenters and shipwrights. We, therefore, have full control over the boat building Indonesia process from material selection, quality control to the final launch. Our project managers have 15-years’ expertise as marine carpenters in Indonesia and France and go round the boatyard every day to watch over the construction. Having a boat is easy, delivering you a great one is our job.
MANAGEMENT
We have been operating yachts in Indonesia for more than 10 years now, and can therefore support and guide you in the selection and training of your crew and all the logistics that cruising in Indonesia requires. Using our communications, booking and sales management platform will ensure that your cruising operations are profitable.

All our wood comes from sustainable plantations based in Sulawesi and Kalimantan…
Our shipyard is based in Bira, South Sulawesi, where traditional boat building Indonesia has been pursued for centuries. Boats built there are mostly inspired by the famous Phinisi two-masted wooden ketches equipped with seven sails. Phinisis have been recognized as an Intangible Cultural Heritage by UNESCO since 2017.
Our ever-growing team of 40 marine carpenters, architects and engineers combine traditional tools and techniques with the latest technological improvements to build safe and strong, yet beautiful vessels. The wood we use is top quality Indonesian wood such as teak, iron wood and bitti. All our wood comes from sustainable plantations based in Sulawesi and Kalimantan with the Indonesian Legal Wood label.
We also participate in the FNPF (Friends of the National Parks Foundation) reforestation programs in the protected rain forest of Kalimantan, and local forestry governmental projects (Departemen Kehutanan dan Lingkungan Hidup) to grow wood to be used for future projects. We have already sponsored the reforestation of one hectare (around 1500 trees) and we plan to donate a percentage of every boat’s revenue to this project on a yearly basis.
