Dec 30, 2024

2024 has been an exceptional year for Pacific High, a year defined by significant achievements, valuable partnerships, and a strengthened commitment to sustainable luxury travel.

From new yacht builds to prestigious awards, here’s a look back at the key moments that shaped our journey.

1. Signing of the Sanya Yacht Build with ABM

In one of the year’s defining milestones, Pacific High signed an agreement with Alur Biru Maritim (ABM) to build the brand-new 36-meter yacht, Sanya. This collaboration marks an exciting new chapter for Pacific High, combining our expertise in the Indonesian archipelago with ABM’s vision for luxury leisure and tourism.

The Sanya yacht will feature a stunning oceanview Master Cabin, complete with a private terrace for the ultimate in serene seclusion. A dedicated bathing platform offers the perfect retreat, enhancing the privacy and exclusivity that defines the Sanya experience. With spacious decks, state-of-the-art amenities, and unrivaled craftsmanship, the yacht promises a seamless voyage to Indonesia’s most breathtaking destinations.

2. Revamping Nataraja for elevated luxury

Nataraja, our maiden yacht, underwent an extensive overhaul in 2024. The goal was to elevate its luxurious offerings to new heights. The renovation focused on enhancing comfort, service, and style, ensuring that every guest’s stay is immersive and unforgettable. With upgraded interior designs, upgraded facilities, and refined service standards, Nataraja now represents the perfect fusion of tradition and modernity.

3. APSS in Hong Kong: Yann’s insights on Phinisi yachts

In the spring, Pacific High took part in the Asia Pacific Superyacht Summit (APSS) in Hong Kong, where our co-founder & director Yann Martinie de Maisonneuve delivered a compelling presentation on the uniqueness of Phinisi yachts in Indonesia. His talk focused on the enduring craftsmanship of these traditional wooden yachts, detailing how Pacific High incorporates time-honored techniques into its modern fleet. It was also a great opportunity to highlight how these yachts are reshaping luxury yachting in the Indonesian archipelago. The presentation sparked meaningful conversations around authenticity, sustainability, and the preservation of cultural heritage.

5. Pacific High becomes a Guardian of Misool

As part of our commitment to environmental sustainability and the preservation of Indonesia’s natural beauty, Pacific High made a significant donation to the Misool Foundation. This partnership solidifies our role as a guardian of Misool—a biodiverse haven located in the heart of Raja Ampat. Through our donation, we help support conservation efforts. But also to safeguard the pristine ecosystem that makes Misool one of the world’s most extraordinary marine destinations.

6. Pacific High fleet sailing together for the first time in Raja Ampat

We are incredibly grateful for an unforgettable journey in Raja Ampat—a truly remarkable way to close the year. This cruise was a milestone for Pacific High as we sailed all three of our yachts—Senja, Dewata, and Nataraja—together for the very first time. Over six extraordinary nights, we had the privilege of hosting wonderful guests, including exceptional photographers & videographers as well as cherished friends, to immerse in the inspiring beauty of Misool. This collaboration celebrated the strength of our fleet and paid tribute to the magnificent landscapes we sail through.
