If your time to visit Komodo National Park allows for only a cruise of less than a week, we have prepared the perfect itinerary to ensure you don’t miss out on any of the amazing activities you can enjoy.
Day 1- Labuan Bajo & Kalong
We’ll pick you up from your hotel or the airport and take you to your boat. Once you’re comfortable onboard, we’ll sail from Labuan Bajo and have lunch on deck. If the weather’s good, you can go snorkeling or diving. In the evening, we’ll watch thousands of big bats, called flying foxes, flying around on Kalong Island.

Day 2 – Rinca Island
Less famous than its neighbor, Komodo Island, Rinca offers an exceptional opportunity to observe Komodo dragons, as well as a diverse population of monkeys and a variety of bird species. Start your day with a guided tour of the park offering a chance to spot Komodo’s iconic dragons. In the afternoon, explore the seabed of the channel between Komodo and Flores, visiting Tatawa Besar and Kecil. Relax on a sandy beach adorned with seashells, or venture out to nearby coves for water sports and exploration.

Day 3 – Pink Beach & Manta Point
Pink beach is the ideal spot for a refreshing swim and an unforgettable photo shoot! The rest of the day will be marked by memorable encounters at Taka Makassar, also known as Manta Point, a magnificent coral garden ideal for snorkeling, where you can observe manta rays, sharks, turtles and many other fascinating species. Afterwards, enjoy sandbanks bathed in turquoise water until the sun sets over these pristine expanses.

Day 4 – Padar Island
Nestled between Rinca and Komodo in the central part of the park, you’ll find the charming island of Padar. On the southeast side lies a serene bay boasting three stunning beaches with different colors: black sand, white sand, and pink sand. The nutrient-rich waters of Central Komodo attract vibrant schools of fish, creating reefs celebrated as among the best in Indonesia. This bay is an idyllic spot for watersports, leisurely moments on the beach, or a tender cruise into the mangroves to observe the diverse birdlife.

Day 5 – Golden Passage & Gili Lawa
Komodo Island lies at the heart of the strait between Sumbawa and the Flores Islands, where the sea rushes between the two islands, creating rich currents and coral reefs to explore, such as the famous Golden Passage.
Your itinerary then takes you to the north-western bay of Komodo Island, known as Batu Moncong, where you can admire unspoilt shallow reefs. The chance to spot manta rays or dolphins near the anchorage is not uncommon. Enjoy swimming, kayaking or simply relaxing on the vast white-sand beaches as you wait for a magnificent sunset.

Day 6 – Back to Labuan Bajo & Farewells
Following your delightful final breakfast and heartfelt farewells, our crew will coordinate your transfer to your hotel or the airport, marking the end of your journey. As you head back home, your mind will be brimming with unforgettable memories from the trip of a lifetime.
