Day 1: Welcome to Raja Ampat
Enjoy the convenience of being picked up at your hotel or Sorong Airport and seamlessly settling into the yacht that will be your home for the upcoming days. We begin our cruise west towards Batu Lima, translating to “Five Rocks”. It is a perfect playground for snorkelers, full of fish in the shallow. If you are lucky, you can even spot a Wobbegong Shark laying just under the rocks at 2 meters deep!
Day 2: Birds of paradise & dancing mantas
An early wake up and a short hike would allow you to witness the mating ritual of rare endemic Red Birds of Paradise. After breakfast, you will snorkel or dive at Cape Kri, surrounded by turtles, sharks, parrotfishes and many more. Heading back South, you will relax on the upper deck as you head toward Pulau Wai. There, you will have the chance to dive a WW2 plane wreck or glide with the resident Manta Rays. For the adventure seekers, we propose a short boat ride and hike to a local waterfall hidden in the jungle.
Day 3: Waterfalls & sandbanks
Nothing better in the morning than a short boat ride, then a walk leading to a waterfall hidden in the lush jungle of Batanta island. You have the option to choose the medium or long trek, depending on your group and your time allowance. Following some excellent photo opportunities on the island, drift off for some snorkeling at Larry’s Promise, a site in Pulau Burung and relax on a sand bank to the sounds of giant Seagulls.
Day 4: World class snorkeling& viewpoint at Piaynemo
Piaynemo is as enjoyable below as above water. It is home to Melissa’s garden, an extraordinary site famous for its amazing display of multicolored hard coral fields. This place has one of the largest fish population in Raja Ampat. Drift effortlessly along the coral garden of Keruo channel or Batu Rufus. Piaynemo is great for many other surface activities, like kayaking or paddle boarding! Before sunset, you can hike up to the top of the hill inside the Star shaped Lagoon for a perfect viewpoint.
Day 5: Yeben & Yanggefo
After a yummy breakfast, head to Yeben Kecil, a soft sanded beach for relaxing and snorkeling. Explore the channel of Yanggefo and Tanjung Putus with its fringing blue water mangrove, where colorful coral reefs meet the roots of these evergreen trees. Enjoy fantastic bird watching against the backdrop of another brilliant Raja Ampat Sunset.
Day 6: World class snorkeling at the Dampier Strait villages
Visit the Arborek Jetty and experience some world class snorkeling in the Dampier Strait just in front of an idyllic Papuan village. A visit to the local village is a must to meet the ever smiling kids. Enjoy Manta Sandy cleaning station and then head to Sawondarek Jetty, another spectacular snorkeling site in the area. Schools of snappers, sweetlips, jacks, barracudas, bumphead can often be seen just under the jetty.
Day 7: Breakfast & farewells in Sorong
After your last delicious breakfast and bidding farewells, our crew will arrange your transfer to your hotel or airport and your return trip back home, your head filled with unforgettable memories of the trip of a lifetime.
