Pacific High & Alur Biru Maritim sign the construction of 33-Meter ‘Semesta’Phinisi Yacht in Indonesia

Jakarta, Indonesia – April 11, 2024 –

Alur Biru Maritim (ABM), a joint venture between the Korean conglomerate ST International and the Indonesian shipping company Sinarmas LDA Maritime, is pleased to announce the signing of a new yacht construction project. This project will be undertaken in collaboration with Pacific High, an emerging leader in traditional Phinisi boatbuilding. Together, they will build ‘Semesta’, a 33-meter private charter yacht. This marks a significant milestone in the beginning of a promising partnership between these respected entities.

The signing ceremony took place on March 18, 2024, at the new ABM office in Jakarta in Sinarmas Land Tower II, setting the stage for a groundbreaking collaboration.

The ‘Semesta’ yacht, a 33-meter masterpiece crafted from ironwood and teak, embodies exclusivity and luxury. It features an ocean view master cabin with direct access to a private outdoor lounge and swim platform, as well as a guest cabin capable of accommodating two additional passengers. Her design includes a spacious sundeck and a foredeck adorned with comfortable sunbeds and a private dining area. ‘Semesta’ marks ABM’s entry into the leisure and tourism industry, underscoring a notable milestone for all parties involved.

The Next Steps of Semesta

The keel laying ceremony for ‘Semesta’, signifying the official commencement of construction, is scheduled for April 24, 2024, at the Pacific High shipyard located in Bira, Sulawesi.
